ULTRASOUND TRANSDUCER SOAKING SYSTEMS

  • Starter kit with bracket, polyethylene cup, lid, smaller white-funnel, larger-blue funnel, and mounting hardware
  • Lightweight soaking cup provides a safe and efficient soaking system for transvaginal and transrectal ultrasound transducers.
  • The contoured funnel prevents transducers from hitting the bottom of the cup, saving costly damage to the lens of the transducer.
  • When not in use, the lid is provided to prevent unpleasant fumes and evaporation of disinfectant or sterilizing solutions.
  • The cup is recommended for use with glutaraldehyde cold chemical disinfecting/sterilizing solutions
  • It is recommended the cup, lid and funnels are replaced when the disinfectant expires. Replacement cups, lids and funnels are sold separately.

  • Eliminates fumes and protects staff while using 75% less disinfectant
  • Meets OSHA and JCAHO requirements
  • Protects delicate probes by suspending them with a grip clip in soak container
  • This unique curved tube design makes it easy to insert and remove long TEE transducers.
  • The heavy duty stainless steel safety cage protects against tube and transducer damage.
  • The soaking station ships standard with three tubes, two for high-level disinfection and the third tube for initial rinse.
  • Fully enclosed for increased protection
  • Safety door allows for placement in patient area
  • New long containers disinfect above the probe handle to help prevent cross-contamination of the cable
  • Only uses 1.3 quarts (1/3 gallon) of disinfectant
  • Use with your choice of disinfectant (OPA, glutaraldehyde, hydrogen peroxide)
  • Minimum of 8 minutes to disinfect your probe
  • Disinfects two probes at once

  • Keep the probe secure during disinfection without damaging sensitive electronics.
  • Polypropylene construction for chemical resistance. The result: NO RUST
  • No ductwork required
  • Two-speed fan
  • Meets OSHA and JCAHO regulatory requirements
  • Protects operator from Glutaraldehyde, O.P.A., Cidex®, Hydrogen Peroxide or Peracetic Acid fumes
  • Tested to UL 61010-1 and CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1
  • TEE Probe Soaking Station is designed to safely and effectively minimize healthcare worker exposure
  • to
commonly used high level disinfectants during soaking and rinsing of TEE probes.
  • The wall mounted design, holds the TEE probe, high level disinfectant and rinse solution within a
  • dedicated area allowing for disinfection, reprocessing and vapor management as per JCAHO and OSHA
  • requirements.

  • Wall-mounted vapor control system is designed for soaking transesophageal probes in glutaraldehyde or OPA. The three curved soaking tubes allow you to soak two probes at a time.
  • One tube is used for the initial rinse.
  • The TEE Probe Storage System is also designed and tested for safely storing and protecting your TEE probes after disinfection.
